Domain backorder

The domain you want is taken but about to expire? We'll queue it for backorder and try to register it for you the moment it drops. We assess the odds upfront, and you pay only for the result.

01

What's included

01

Status monitoring

We track the stages a domain goes through as it's released: from expiry to deletion from the registry.

02

Placing the backorder

We place the domain on backorder so we can try to register it the moment it's released.

03

Registration attempt

At the moment of deletion, we submit a request to register the domain to you.

04

Pay on success

You pay for the result: if the domain can't be caught, there's no charge for the service.

02

How we work

First we assess the odds honestly, then we place the domain on backorder.

01

Check

We look at the domain's status and term and assess the chances of catching it.

02

Placement

We place the domain in the backorder queue.

03

The catch

At the moment of deletion, we try to register the domain to you.

04

Handover

We register it in your name or arrange it as agreed.

03

Questions

Do you guarantee that you'll catch the domain?

No, and we're upfront about it. Several parties may be after a popular domain at once. We assess the odds in advance, and you only pay for a successful result.

How is this different from ordinary registration?

A taken domain can't simply be registered. A backorder catches the moment a domain is released after expiry and deletion – almost impossible to hit by hand.

What if the domain gets renewed?

Then it isn't released and a backorder isn't possible. In that case we'll help you reach the owner and discuss a purchase through a broker.
